With the prospect of returning to Ukraine to complete their medical education ruled out, the 1,986 medical college returnees from Ukraine stage a demonstration asking the Union and state governments to put them up in local medical colleges for course completion.

The Parents Association of Tamil Nadu stated that the government should consider their child’s continued education as most of them are not able to attend online classes owing to the ongoing war. The parents also urged the state government to seek permission from the central government to accommodate them in local colleges.
